Woman disappeared 41 years ago turned up

Lula Cora Hood, who went missing in 1970, has turned up. She has 14 kids and had mental health problems all throughout her adult life. Her family has thought they found her remains in a brickyard in Galeburg, Fla in 1996. So they held a memorial service to bury the remains. 2 yrs ago, the family had DNA testing on the remains-turned it wasn't Hood. So the investigators reopened the case. With her name and date of birth in hand, they were able to find her in Fla in late June. Although DNA results won't be available for several mon, officials are convinced they've the right woman this time around.

It doesn't matter if you've got mental health issues cos you've got so many kids (14!), you don't just walk away from your family from your responsibilities! God, Lord, it's incredible! How could she have walked away from her family like that?! What a fine example for your kids! They need a maternal role model. From I read, she doesn't remember her kids, not even the one who called her.

And another thing- the cops were doing such a lousy job. I mean why couldn't they've find her before- I mean The article said they used name and birthdate. Well, they didn't need computers for that: they could just used a telephone book. God, and how could they have gotten another person's remains mixed up with Hood's?
