Awards for the Stars but what about us...?

Awards (shows) are a sham! If they get awards for the awards for the work for such and such a movie, TV show, music, or whatever, then shouldn't we get one for our hard-earned labor? They did nothing but have fun or what it looks like to their fans. But maybe just maybe it is hard work. How hard is it to be creative? How hard is it to memorize a couple of lines for a movie, play, TV show, or whatever... The people in the entertainment industry pretend to be doctors, for example while the real doctors don't even get so much as an accolade. They do feel proud when something goes well for them or defeated when something goes bad for them. But some times TV doesn't even portray life in the hospital right... No way the people in real life gets reward for being doing a good job on a certain assignment or getting an important client or even being prompted. Sure, you get an new office and maybe a secretary/receptionist. But an reward? Nosiree.
But somehow I always tempted to watch who win what even though my principles are totally against awards shows. But still, I hate the entertainment industry for getting awards when other hard-working people don't even get an award. They just feel good or bad about themselves when they achieve something or don't. Still, it's the principle of the thing, right? Anyway, awards for the entertainment industry stinks. We commoners should get awards for laboring ourselves off. But all the entertainment industry does is sell themselves. Some don't even do nothing. They get famous for nothing. Paris Hilton, for example. I'm talking about the reality stars.

Movie Revue: Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

Heath Ledger's last movie (God rest his soul) was a ride of a lifetime! It was a blast! I had a blast watching it! I can't even tell the diff between the others-Johnny Depp & Jude Law-who took over his role after his death. They seemed so similar that I thought they were all the same person! Jude Law & Johnny Depp did a good job taking over Heath Ledger's role.
SPOILER'S ALERT!!!

As for the story, I love it to pieces! It was about Doctor Parnassus selling her daughter to the devil. When she turns 16, the devil gets her. In exchange, the good (or bad?) doctor gets immortality and infinite, magician powers to explore your imagination. Whenever the doctor is at the lowest peak of his life, the devil turns up and they make a new bargain. He even manages to get youth so that he can woo his future daughter's mother, but the devil has one deal to make with this. When the kid turns 16, the kid is turn over to the devil. After his daughter finds out about this, she threatens to run away to live a normal life.

Enter Tony, Heath Ledger/Johnny Depp/Jude Law's character, who changes the Doctor Parnassus' show for the better, reaping them in lots and lots of dough. Tony wants to escape reality so he escapes into his imagination, which turns hideous 'cause he's hideous. He has some dark secrets that no one on the Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus' crew knew about until the other guy of the group got it out of him; the daughter is always defending him, but the other guy says Tony betrayed them with his secrets. Then Tony comes up with this idea to draw more customers to the Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. They were sold!

But then he entered with the daughter the Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, that's when everything changed... Tony & the daughter were in a boat with nice view and everything but everything has its price doesn't it? The pleasantness has a downside to it... They suddenly saw a kid, and then become public figures when they find the kid, but is it for real or is it their imagination? After they find the kid, they become public figures for Missing & Exploited Children or something like that.

But then, men start to chase Tony, and that's when things go wrong. He start to hit everybody-even little kids, the daughter who thought she loves him, but when he starts to hit her, she starts to hate him. Tony even hit Doctor Parnassus. Eventually, the devil make a deal with Doctor Parnassus. If the doctor gets rid of Tony, then the daughter is free of the previous bargain. So Doctor Parnassus gets rid of Tony-I mean everybody else's gets rid of Tony. They hang him 'cause they hate him. Doctor Parnassus ends up being a beggar. His daughter ends up marrying the other guy and having her own daughter. Doctor Parnassus is able to get out being a beggar with the help of a midget (Mini-Me from the Austin Powers movies) without the help of the devil and continue entertaining a new generation.

I like how the daughter was able to get out of doing what she hated and lived a normal life without her father; she doesn't need to depend on her father. After all, she's an independent woman. She was able to build a family of her own; her father's life wasn't what she wanted. Neither was the other guy. I found the father (Doctor Parnassus) lame because he was trying to entertain with the help of a midget. Isn't that lame? I think so.

Justin Bieber

Guess what my new obssession is?
Justin Bieber!
He's just the cutest, most talented softie ever!
I love his soft voice.
I also love his romantic videos (Taylor Swift gets kudos for most romantic country videos; Justin Bieber gets kudos for most romantic pop videos).
No question about it, I'm in looooove with him; I've a reeeeeeeally bad crush on him.
(Granted, he's a little too young for my liking, but I think young guys are way more charming, studly than older guys who had been touched by life n' rejection)
Since he's new to the entertainment industry, he's most probably untouched by scandal!
And not to mention, he's untouched by Disney, which makes it all the more perfect!
Scandal-free=Perfect catch!
Love ya, JB!

Feed Your Mind

Feed me...
Live it up-
Enjoy life to the fullest
Take what's yours and bring it back (like a boomerang!)
Don't take life for granted-
Enjoy each and every little itty bitty moment that you can
Take extreme measures
Take a leap of faith-
Leap into the fire (without any clothes on!)
Can't stand the heat,
then this life isn't for you!
As a last resort.
Take the drastic measures

Life's Misgivings

Isn't it horrible?
I've been hibernating; I've got a marginal cold.
I've think everyone-and I mean everyone has forgotten me... :(
Isn't it sad, though...?
Why, I could disappear off the face of the earth, and no one but no one would care...!
I am getting sad just thinking about it...

2010

Happy New Year-HNY!
Welcome to a New Decade! Yep, it's another decade! Out with the old, in with the new! All right!
Well, hope this year, this decade is better for the world at large (don't be a pessimist, be an optimist!) Hope good things come our way in the future! Hope we dig our way out of the bad economy-there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
So far the entertainment industry is saddened by the loss of Casey Johnson, heiress to the Johnson & Johnson enterprise. Well, I, for one, didn't know who she was. But her death has an impact on the entertainment industry. That's what you get for embracing the L.A. party scene. More addiction to drugs and alcohol...
Gossip, gossip, gossip. Same old, same old in the world of rich and famous
On the other hand, life is happening for everyone else that is not rich and famous-making the extraordinary out the ordinary-continuing on their mundane, daily lives. How boring! Let's make the most of life-make the most of the ordinary into extraordinary. Make lemonade out of lemon.
