The Pitfalls of Fame

Too bad for poor Janis Joplin. She had so much talent but made all the wrong choices in life that she died so young. She should have used that fame for something useful like to make something of herself or change the world. Poor Janis Joplin ended up dead of a heroin overdose. So much wasted talent.

During the 80s, River Phoenix died of an overdose at the Viper Room on Sunset Blvd. They just can't handle it, They become addicted to it (Yep, Johnny Depp co-owned Viper Room w/ River Phoenix. As of late, a lot of stars or former stars had been doing drugs. They don't seem to be getting enough of it.

Kate Moss, who tried it w/ her ex-boyfiiend Babyshambles Pete Doherty, but she straighten up her up her act. She had since broken up w/ her bad-news boyfriend and started her own clothing label, TopShop. Some people, some celebs come out of their drug-addicted state. Another example is Amy Winehouse, who is no longer wearing her famous beehive 'do, but is sober

Some people-some celebs-just can't get a clue. Just can't their life back like Lindsay Lohan, who's gone back n' forth to rehab. And let's not forget Paris Hilton, who's been hit w/ DUI, not once but twice. And don't talk to me about Mel Gibson and his supposedly drunken tirade. Ah the humanity of it all!

Tell me, why do we love celebrities so much? This ain't news; this is gossip. This is what people go to the their kick, their addiction daily. It's like a drug to them. Celebrity gossip is a drug to us common folk.

Don't forget to read your tabloids, honeycakes! You might find something useful (yeah, right)!
