More Cutbacks

Why's the economy so bad off?
First the jobs are downsized. Then the Muni has hiked their fee to $20. Now they're saying they gonna cut education. By that, I mean they're cutting classes. That's why the students, teachers, parents are rebelling against the system by having rallies all across the nation this past Thursday. But is it worth it? Will the politicos listen? Call me a cynic, but I don't think so. Even if put our voices in, they won't listen. They got their own opinions, though we must advocate for our rights as students/teachers/parents to make a stand against the politicans that we won't stand for the cutbacks! We must stand our ground! We must let our message be heard LOUD and  CLEAR that we won't stand for anymore budget cuts!! We can change the system!
At CCSF, if they go thru with the budget cuts, they might cut the DSPS classes, never mind the services that DSPS provides. Not only are the community/junior colleges are at-risk, the state & public universities are in jeopardy. What will we do without community colleges? without our education?
For those who lost their jobs and are going back to school to further their education, I am sorry, actually the government should say sorry, but there is no longer a way for them to spread their wings. They may go back to school b/c they want to learn more skills. If the budget cuts actually happens, there would be no longer a way for them to go to school what with the cutbacks.
On a persoal note, I am just exercising and taking Job Club that helps with my job skills thru CCSF, but what will happened to me without it? I and my friends will be lost without it. So I plead with the politicans to stop with the budget cuts-STOP the BUDGET CUTS! It won't do anybody a world of good. We NEED DSPS classes and the services it provide! NO MORE BUDGET CUTS!!!
Make your voices heard!! Attend each and every rally there is!! Prevent the cutbacks!! Advocate for rights of studens/teachers/parents! Advocate for public education NOW!  STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHTS!!
